Saturday, Nov. 5: “NC Tractor Customer Appreciation Day/Recognition of Jim Bishop” at NC Tractor and Farm Supply from 10:00am-12:00pm. 299 Railroad Ave, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.

Tuesday, Nov. 8: “Election Day Celebration” at the Rutherfordton Clubhouse starting at 6:30pm. 241 Club House Dr. Rutherfordton, NC 28139.

Friday, Nov. 11: “Veterans Day Breakfast” at the Rutherford Co. Annex/Administrative office from 7:00am-11:00am. 289 N Main St, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.

Saturday, Dec. 10: “Holiday Christmas Dinner” at the Rutherfordton Enrichment Council building (Boy Scout Hut) from 4:00pm-9:00pm. 271 N Toms St, Rutherfordton, NC 28139

Voter guide distribution from Monday, Oct. 31- Saturday, Nov. 5 & Tuesday, Nov. 8. If you can work the early voting sites or any election day precincts, please notify me.

If you are looking for more ways to get involved with the official RCGOP, you have several options. We need YOUR help with upcoming events.

1). Congressman and US senate candidate Ted Budd will be at the RCGOP HQ this Monday, October 31 from 1:00pm-2:00pm for a “Get Out the Vote” rally. Everyone is welcome. 2).  The official RCGOP will have a booth at NC Tractor and Farm Supply, Saturday, Nov. 5, to promote local business/agriculture, the republican party, register voters, and merchandise will be available.

3). On Nov. 8 (Election Day), sheriff candidate, Aaron Ellenburg, is hosting an Election Day watch party. Everyone is invited to watch the results come in, eat, and fellowship at the Rutherfordton Clubhouse starting at 6:30pm until. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided.

4). The RCGOP will host our annual Veterans Day breakfast on Friday, November 11, to honor those who have served. The official RCGOP hosts a free annual breakfast to feed current and retired servicemen and women and their families who choose to attend. Items needed are breakfast casseroles, biscuits and gravy, muffins, fruit, breakfast desserts, etc. 

5). Tickets for the Holiday Christmas fundraiser on Dec. 10 are available at the RCGOP HQ. Tickets: $15 (children 12 & under FREE). Please contact Julie Napolitano or Joyce Russell for additional information.

All of these are large scale events that require many volunteers. If you would like to volunteer in any capacity with any events, please let me know.
