The RCGOP has an incredibly busy schedule over the next week and a half, and we want to make sure you're informed about the key events and updates! Please read through the following details carefully:

1) Early Voting Locations

A) Board of Elections Office

  • Dates: Today, Feb. 23 - Saturday, Feb. 28

    • Time: 8:00 AM - 7:30 PM; Saturday, closes 3:00 PM

B) Isothermal Community College - Business Sciences Building - Blue Room

2) State of the Union Address
President Trump is scheduled to speak at 9:00 PM, Tuesday, February 24. You can view the 2026 State of the Union address on the following platforms:

3) Monthly GOP Meeting this Thursday

  • Date: Thursday, Feb. 26

  • Time: 6:00 PM

4) Rolling Trump Rally - Saturday, Feb. 28
Join us for a fun and festive Rolling Trump Rally in Rutherford County! Decorate your vehicle with TRUMP or any Republican candidate items! Creative ideas include: cars, trucks, Jeeps, classic cars, hot rods, dump trucks, tractor trailers, motorcycles, and more!

  • Date: Saturday, Feb. 28

5) 2026 Convention/Precinct Meeting
 

The Rutherford County Republican Party 2026 Precinct Meeting & Convention has been called for Saturday, March 14, 2026. 

 

Details:

When: Saturday, March 14
Time: Timeline is provided below

Location: RCGOP Store/HQ

Address: 171 E Main St, Forest City, NC 

 

Registration is now open and will close on March 8th at 11:59 pm.

 

Timeline:
8:00 AM – Doors Open/Check-in Begins/On-site Registration Begins
8:45 AM – On-site Registration Closes
9:00 AM – Check-in Closes
9:30 AM – 10:00 AM Precinct Meetings
10:15 AM – Convention Call to Order

 

Convention fee is $5. If you would also like our full, hot homemade breakfast buffet with fresh coffee and chilled milk and juices (RSVP required for food count), it is only $10, for a total of $15 that can be paid online at the same time you register and pay for the convention. This will ensure swift credentialing and check-in services at the convention.
