1) Hands of Hope For Life

Every year, the RCGOP joins in the Walk for Life & this year, Hands of Hope which serves Rutherford & Polk Counties is hosting a Lifeline Event. 

"This Event is something new for us. Every year, for 33 years, we have had a "Walk for Life" fundraising event. This year, instead of walking, we are forming a Lifeline. It is still a fundraiser for HOH; so gather your youth group, your ladies group, your men's group, your families, your friends, and your co-workers to come out and help form this line! Please consider making it a priority and commit to show up and to Stand for Life with us. You will learn about how we are ministering to our community and sharing the love of Christ every day. We are not just Pro-Life, we are Pro-Abundant Life! Help us continue to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus to a lost and dying world right here at home!" - Executive Director Michelle Flynn

2) Ellenboro Fair - Old Ellenboro School Fairground

When: Tuesday, Sept. 22 – Saturday, Sept. 26.

The RCGOP will have a booth set up as usual. We need a lot of help manning the booth during the evenings Tuesday – Thursday between 5:00pm and 9:00pm, Friday between 5:00pm and 10:00pm, and Saturday between 12 noon and 10:00pm. 3) 2026 Salt & Light ConferenceThe RCGOP has been invited to the 2026 Salt & Light Conference by the North Carolina Faith and Freedom Coalition.

The Rutherford County GOP can take advantage of an opportunity to attend and hear from local, state, and national leaders right here in Western NC just across the McDowell County line.
